Ingredients-
Oil 2 -4 Tbs
Fresh Ginger 1 tbs puree
Fresh Garlic 1 tbs puree
Red Onions Chopped 2-3
Skinless boneless Chicken Breasts 2 Diced
Green chillies to taste
Salt to taste
Tamarind Paste 1/2 cup or use Tamarind Chutney
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli powder 1 tbs or to taste
Method
1. Heat 2-4 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger puree and 1 tablespoon of fresh garlic puree to the pan. Saute until fragrant.
3. Add 2-3 chopped red onions to the pan and cook until they are translucent.
4. Cut 2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and add them to the pan. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink.
5. Add diced green chilies to taste, salt to taste, 1/2 cup of tamarind paste (or use tamarind chutney), 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and 1 tablespoon of red chili powder (adjust to taste) to the pan. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
6. Cook the mixture for a few more minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the flavors have melded together.
7. Serve the dish hot with rice or naan.
