Tindora is a popular vegetable in India. It grows in tropical climates, and in fact, it has a lot of medicinal properties. Tindora are small and green in color with thin white stripes sometimes. They are raw and crunchy in that state, and as they ripen, they become pinkish-red in color. Serve with Roti, Daal & Rice.
In this blog, I will show you how you can make this amazing recipe in a matter of 10 to 20 minutes.
Ingredients
Oil 4 Tbs
Hing one big pinch
Mustard Seeds 2 tsp
Fresh Ginger chopped 2 tbs
Tindora Frozen 1 bag
Salt to taste
Red Chilli powder 1 tsp
Cilantro (Coriander) powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves to garnish
Method -
Add oil to a pan; add asafetida (hing) and mustard Seeds once hot. Let it splutter.
Add freshly chopped Ginger.
Let it cook for 1 minute; add Frozen Tindora.
Now it's time to add spices - 1 tbsp red chili, 1/2 tbsp cilantro (coriander) powder & 1/2 garam masala- and add some salt to taste.
Cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes; stir it after 10 minutes of cooking and garnish it with Cilantro (Coriander) leaves.
